Hello My Name Is...
Harold Whitaker holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University. Mr. Whitaker also holds professional educator certifications in Educational Leadership (All Levels), Social Studies (8-12), and ESL supplemental.
After working many years in the public school setting, Mr. Whitaker made the decision to become a teacher and serve the parents and students of Mike Moses Middle School. He taught 8th grade American History before transitioning as a Student Coordinator and Coach. These roles gave him many leadership responsibilities that included facilitating collaborative planning with teachers, supporting the school student behavior plan, organizing and facilitating school-wide professional development, conferencing with parents, which influenced him to the role of Assistant Principal.
During this time Mr. Whitaker won the Assistant Principal of the year for Texas Association of Secondary Schools Principals for Region 7. Soon after he made the transition to the Associate Principal position at Mike Moses Middle School.
